Q: What are the advantages of the IQ System vs 48 volt PowerDrive system?
A: The IQ System has all the advantages of the 48 volt PowerDrive system plus enhanced hill climbing ability, advanced motor braking and increased speed capabilities up to 19.6 mph.

Q: Differences between gasoline and electric powered vehicles?
A: Electric vehicles require less maintenance (due to less moving parts), quiet operation and a limited running time (length depends on vehicle type). Gasoline vehicle have longer running time, more towing power and doesn’t need a electric service to operate.

Q: When do I need to charge an electric vehicle?
A: The batteries in an electric vehicle should be charged when you’re done using it for the day or after the low charge warning light on the dash board comes on. The on-board computer in the vehicle controls the length of charge time automatically depending on the amount of discharge.

Q: Acid is bubbling out of my batteries! Is this normal?
A: Venting is a normal occurrence when charging your batteries. However, if the acid is coming from anywhere other than the vents at the top of the battery, you may have a leak.

Q: How do I neutralize excess battery acid that has leaked out or bubbled over from my batteries?
A: You can use a professional neutralizing solution or a simple baking soda wash will work. Be sure that the caps are securely on your batteries and that you don’t get any baking soda inside the battery

Q: Will a golf car fit in the bed of my truck?
A: standard two passenger golf car without a rear seat kit or a bed will fit in a full-size pickup truck with an 8′ bed. If you have a smaller compact truck it can be done, but not very easily. You’ll have to drive over the fender wells and getting it out will be difficult and may damage your truck or the car.

Q: How much distilled water should I put in my batteries?
A: The water should completely cover the plates inside the battery, but should be about quarter inch below the bottom of the fill tube. Always try to use distilled water if possible. The minerals, chlorine, and/or fluoride present in tap water can react with the lead in the battery and reduce the life of your batteries. However, if you don’t have distilled water handy, tap water can be used.
